How to join
Prospective members can attend three events before formally joining so you can come along, check us out and see how it all works before deciding whether to purchase a membership.
We welcome novice, intermediate and advanced paddlers (including those getting abck into the sport again) throughout the year. We prefer beginners to join us around May when we have access to the Cheltenham Lido as it means you can learn the basics in the brilliant facilities available before stepping up to the next level on the rivers.
The best way to get started as a prospective member and find out about our upcoming programme is to email the Club Captain. The button below will take you to our contact page.
When you’re ready to join the club you’ll be asked to sign up and pay though our membership platform, Member Mojo.
Annual Fees
The membership year runs from the 1st May. Any changes to the membership will be agreed at the AGM run in January and will be implemented for 1st May.
There is not a discount for joining part way though the year.
Adults who are Paddle UK On The Water members receive a discount as we do not need to pay for their club affiliation.

Did you know we’re 100% volunteer led?
Our committee does an amazing job of keeping the club running and we’re able to offer so many paddling trips thanks to our experienced river leaders who take it in turns to organise activities throughout the year.
You don’t need to be an elite paddler to help out, we’ve got plenty of small roles you could fill to help make the club even better.
